April Statistics & Announcements
Here are some stats for the month of April. Things continue to be down when compared to previous years, but there will be a bounce back. This is also a post where we make announcements.
The monthly reports include some new stats. We hope they provide a deep look at some of our best-performing titles.

*On Amazon (US), our overall watch minutes were up compared to the previous month, with over 52 total watch hours. The overall watch time on Amazon is down from previous years, but no doubt it is due to the growth of free-to-watch services. Amazon recently announced changes to their Slate (self-publishing Platform) and, at this time, they are not accepting new account setups in the U.S., the UK, Germany & Austria, or Japan. Amazon is an important service for all filmmakers. Zombie Media will continue to present titles on Amazon to help ensure the success of filmmakers. In fact, we reach Amazon services and territories that were never available through Slate.

** We made it easier to get your film looked at for possible distribution. Simply fill out the form on the Distribute page.
** There is an expected change coming to Amazon Video in 2025 as it becomes more aggressive in an attempt to capture market share. The word is that they will be offering more free videos with ads and really push to gain ground. This could be a plus for ZMP and our Clients. So far, we have not seen this development.

We also offer wholesale pricing to bookstores, gift shops, and retail outlets. ZMP has shown some nice growth in this section of our business. Anyone wishing to add any or all of our products to their retail shop, feel free to contact us via the contact form.
With the changes at Tubi (read here), everyone's revenue has taken a slight hit. We plan to offset some of this with marketing. We believe that additional streaming services will rise to the occasion and contribute to compensating filmmakers for this loss of income. We also encourage all filmmakers and authors to self-promote.
