For more than thirty years, independent filmmaker and Bigfoot researcher Thomas Marcum has investigated reports of unexplained creatures throughout Appalachia and beyond.
Most Bigfoot encounters follow a familiar pattern. A witness catches a brief glimpse of something impossible. A strange sound echoes through the woods. A large figure crosses a lonely road before disappearing into the darkness.
Many witnesses are left shaken, confused, or afraid to speak about what they saw.
But every so often... a case emerges that refuses to follow that familiar pattern.
A Family Looking For Answers
In late 2023, Thomas was contacted by a concerned member of a Kentucky family living on a rural farm. The call wasn’t about publicity — it came from genuine concern.

The Investigation
Thomas visited the property in winter 2023, documenting the reports firsthand. As months passed, the encounters continued — new sightings, new footprints, new activity.

In July of 2024, Thomas returned to the farm. This time, the investigation would be much more extensive. He would be joined by fellow investigator Tony Felosi, bringing additional experience and another set of eyes to the investigation.

He has produced more than thirty independent documentaries, authored numerous books, and appeared on television, including Discovery Channel's Expedition X, where he assisted in an investigation into reported Bigfoot activity in the Kentucky wilderness.
